Macbook Pro Update 2010?

Yesterday apple introduced the iPad and i read that they were going to upgrade the macbook pro but they did not. On the buyers guide website it says that the last one to come out was 234 days ago and not to buy it and it will update soon. Around what month will apple be updating this computer? And too do you think it will be a big update where they redesign it cover to cover? And when they do update it do you think the price will drop for the 13 inch model? And if the price did drop would apple be releasing this computer at the same time as they release a new macbook? Also if you have any more information on an update that would be happening please share it with me.

I have no inside information… I’m waiting to buy the next revision myself. I can’t tell when it’ll happen, now that the event has passed, but I can tell you that traditionally, the big ‘cover to cover’ updates are usually event-worthy. This is shaping up to be a hardware revision, and that means the only things that’ll change are the processor speed/type, and possibly the amount of memory. It’s unlikely the computer will look any different, or have any different external hardware.

The prices will likely remain the same, although for that price, you’ll get the updated processor. If want to save, you may be able to pick up the current model for less after the new ones are announced. Here’s hoping the wait won’t be too much longer.
