I Have Accidentley Ordered Apple Ipad Head Phones With Volume control and mic.. will it work with my itouch 2g?

Yes it will work, all Apple headphones are for Universal headpones so they will fit any Apple device or computer/laptop. So it will work, if fact you will be better as it has a mic for voice memos.
