i have a 2nd generation shuffle which i use for bedtime songs. I love the 4th generation precisely as it has the same switches plus some. I didn’t like the looks of the finally generation so waited. my business is so glad I did! I love my new shuffle! The voice about is awesome! I was really glad about the play list option. that is definitely one thing that MY PARTNER AND I felt was limiting about the 2nd generation. I now have all my music with me constantly. No need for holding 2 shuffles with myself. Yes, I did have 2 on the 2nd generation, but gave 1 to my son after i got my new one particular. Overall, I am very pleased and won’t get yourself a new one until i must. If they were to up the type of the flash drive, I might consider the item, but my current one has plenty space for all of the music I listen to on a regular basis. Thank you Apple!

exceptional little player!
Just REALLY LIKE my little iPod! it had been a little disconcerting when it arrived from the mail, as I had absolutely no idea how tiny it can be. I have a chronic illness and need to take numerous doctor visits, and I have SEVERE white coat symptoms! I practically get sick I get so nervous. I bought this little player to use while waiting to notice the doctors. I utilized it just yesterday at My Johns Hopkins appt.,also it REALLY helped soothe my nerves as i was waiting to see this doctor. Music and animals have always had a calming relation to me, and since I are unable to take my dogs towards the appointments, I can take my little iPod! It just fits inside a pocket so nicely or clips on a belt. This was the most effective purchase I’ve made in quite a long time! Highly recommended!
iPod Shuffle (4th gen) – does that which is says on the container!
This new model is easier to use than the actual 3rd generation version — the buttons are back and easy to use, and with voiceover it’s easy to shift between songs along with playlists/albums/podcasts, so I discover my Couch to 5K podcasts quickly and easily, then when my go is finished it’s simple to switch up to some workout music to complete my core/strength workout plus stretching.
The only drawback I’ve found usually (because of the tiny size) to open that clip, you have to put your fingers carefully either side in the “back” button, otherwise after you try to adjust this clip, you can accidentally modify the playback – no problem when you’re just listening to a playlist, but a big PITA when you find yourself halfway through a 31 minute interval-training podcast.
all in all, an excellent player and good value – definitely much easier and much more comfortable for my goes and workouts than strapping my personal Nano onto my provide!
