Is there any way to run my iPhone on my macbook?
I am running leopard 10.5 and I downloaded the iPhone SDK. I wrote an application in Dashcode. Is there a way to run this on my actual iPhone? Or is there a way to show my iPhone screen on my mac? Steve Jobs did it in one of the Apple Keynotes… I think it was the one when he introduced the iphone. He projected it on the screen. I think there is a way to do this if I plug it into the computer. When I press run in dashcode, it opens the aspen simulator [iPhone simulator]/

The Simulator is provided with the SDK. When you click build and go, it should have automatically run the Simulator.
As for running on the actual device, you have to be accepted into the $99/year program. So far, Apple’s only accepted a few (a lot of them are jailbreak application developers)
Once accepted, they give you the firmware 2.0 beta…(which btw, is useless if your iPhone is your life…there are many things that makes it unusable for daily things [like Exchange is still buggy])
The 2.0 beta is the only firmware able to run SDK applications.
