How do I restore my iphone from a backup?
My iphone messed up so I got it replaced by the apple store. I cant restore my phone because my computer crashed and I lost everything. I did manage to copy my itunes folder (from my computer/programs) to a external hard drive before it crashed. How do I restore my phone from a backup that is in that itunes folder?
That was a smart thing you did by taking that folder and putting up on another hard drive, and a tech guy and i never thought about that very smart.
All you have to do is install itunes on another machine and once you have done that, take the itunes folder that you have saved and replace it in the program files of the new computer you installed the new itunes and then turn itunes back on and once you have done that login into itunes with your email address and password and it will restore your iphone back.
