DO you think Apple will get IMovie on the IPad?
ok well, i already have like 3 laptops, and im saving up for a mac for the imovie, because i love making videos and editing and stuff. But i know the IPad just came out and its going for that “replacement laptop” kinda thing but i was wondering if there going to get imovie on there soon, so i don’t have to save up another $600.00

Absolutely not, in my opinion. Besides the fact that the hardware in the iPad is nowhere near powerful enough to do the processing required for rendering movies, the iPad uses a modified version of the iPhone OS which only supports video files encoded for that device. Save up and get a Macbook Pro. It will absolutely blow your mind!
On a side note, the iPad does do simple clip editing (trimming) so if that’s all you are looking for, you might be in luck.
