Itunes alphabet problem?
I have a song on my iTunes which when I view the artists alphabetically, it comes up under D, when the band begins with an A. It’s a bit random I know lol. I’ve searched apple FAQ’s and havn’t found a problem just like this. I tried changing the song info and deleting the song and re-adding it to my library, but it always comes under D. Even on my iPhone the alphabet goes A,B,C,D,A,E,F,G. I really have no idea what is wrong, please help.
In grid view it goes back to the top (a) but in cover and list view it goes in the D section. I tried renaming the artist to the same name as another artist in my library but it won’t move.
The band is called Airbourne Toxic Event with no ‘The’ in front of it. I think it’s a glitch because the alphabet goes A B C D, then this band A like it has it’s own letter heading if you get what I mean then carries on back to E F etc.
What is the artist name? iTunes ignores words like “The” so a band called, for example, The Beatles will come under B, not T. Does the band name begin with A – for example A Dead Beat? If so iTunes will probably ignore “A” and file the artist under D.
