Apple Ipad 2 Case Review
Is it legal to advertise a product using an advert implying it is of a better quality than it actually is?
I was just watching an Apple iPad 2 advert on youtube – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeDtLpefDjk&feature=related. At 2:35 in the video, it shows the new front and rear cameras in action, and to me these looked pretty good quality. But then I saw a review for it – http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/laptops/1283665/apple-ipad-2 – which said they “produce fairly poor quality video and photos”. But if this is the case, could the advert have been lying? I want to know if it is legal for Apple to do this, and if not would they be picked up on this by whoever-it-is who regulates the ads?
…otherwise I’d assume the review was wrong
If this was illegal then all advertising would be a crime.
