iPod Touch 2nd Generation or 3rd Generation?
I was wondering whether the iPod Touch I bought was of the 3rd generation or of the 2nd generation. Here’s the info:
Bought on 12/16/09.
8G
Model: MC086LL / A1288
Came with headphones -without- microphone or remote attached.
Came with external speakers.
Came in a clear box, with Apple stickers, and two manuals, and a plastic thingy.
If you know what type of iPod Touch this is, I was also wondering if I am able to jailbreak it. I know the most recent iTouch/update (3G / 3.1.3) is unable to be jailbroken at this moment, so this information would also be helpful.
Hi! Based on your model number and What date you brought it on your ipod is a 3G!
And also if you want to jailbreak there are ways to revert back to the 3.1.2 firmware just google it!
