iPod registration question?
Hey guys, just got my iPod and downloaded iTunes. It wants me register my iPod onto iTunes which is all well and good, but then it is asking for personal details that i think it has no reason to have e.g. address, phone number. Any reason for this and does anyone know what Apple use it for? Is there any way to get around it and still register? Thanks for any help x
Sure, you can cancel the registration. It just won’t be as easy to get repairs should you need to use the warranty. This is all standard product registration info. Nothing shady.
You may also be asked if you would like to set up an iTunes Store account. This is not necessary if you don’t plan on downloading music, movies, or applications from the iTunes Store.
