Does Apple still give away free “replacement” headphones under warranty?
When I had a second gen iPod, Apple would send replacement headphones when they started to become fuzzy-sounding, but not request that you return the original ones. Do they still do this (for example, for the iPhone headphones?)
Yes they do. However now they do request that you return the broken headphones. If you do not return them, they charge you a “non-return” $29.00 fee.
