Hey I have a black Ipod Video that my friend got wet when on a boat a few years ago…?
Well anyway he forgot it was in his pocket and decided to go in the water. He only got the area where it charges wet from what I saw , but no matter how much it dries it won’t turn on. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Should I bring it to the Apple store and just pay for the repair? Keep in mind that this happened three years ago….Yeah that was a long time ago. I should’ve taken care of this sooner, but I didn’t.
Yea so I’m pretty much open to any suggestions BESIDES opening it up.
Seeing as it was three years ago, if it was usable I’m sure it would work by now – try plugging it in to your computer/laptop with the USB and see if by charging it, it helps it work.
If not, see how much it’ll cost to get repaired. If it’s a lot, then you may just want to save the money and buy a new one. But it’s worth a try!
