Is an apple Ipod nano chromatic 16GB a hot product? I’m a novice so I would like to know i’m getting a good ?

I would get the itouch personally. Right now I have the ipod nano that is square looking (the ones released before the nano-chromatic ones). And I personally think the older nanos (the one I have) is better than the chromatic ones because the screen is a square/rectanglish and looks like a normal screen, and the new ones have a thin elongated rectangle screen and to me it looks like it almost has a smaller screen because of it. Just my opinion. I saw the new ones in the store the other day and I expected the screens to be slightly bigger than the one I have but it wasn’t, it almost looked smaller. It does have new features though, such as an accelermometer like the itouch, so when you shake your ipod it will shuffle songs, or when you tilt your ipod it will go into coverflow mode. Honestly I could live without those features, I’d rather have a better screen. I’m sure the chromatic ones are a good ipod though. Good luck!

I just looked up the dimensions for both the 3rd generation and the 4th generation ipod screens and they are exactly the same, the 4th generation just has the screen elongated into a rectangle instead of squarish like.
