iPod Classic Questions?
Ok I bought an 80gb iPod Classic yesterday on eBay and I should be getting it in a few days, but the problem is, this is my first iPod. I have a bunch of sansa, samsung and zen mp3 players, but those are just easy drag & drop music files, but iPods are different because of itunes.
so here are my questions..

and it said this:
Sync all songs and playlists: When you connect iPod classic, it’s automatically updated
to match the songs and other items in your iTunes library. Any other songs on
iPod classic are deleted.
what does that mean? it will keep deleting my songs if they are not on itunes?
2] how do i create playlists for videos, etc or is everything all setup like “Music” “Videos” “Tv shows” ?

about the automatic deletion of songs, how do I change that so it won’t automatically delete? thanks
The auto-sync option tries to make a mirror image of your iTunes library on your iPod, so if it’s not in your iTunes library, yes, It will delete them off your iPod.
You can disable this though, just click the iPod in the sources list, then make sure the “Manually manage my music.” is properly checked. It won’t delete any more songs, but from now on you will have to manually move all songs to the iPod that you want to put in there, and delete them from the iPod yourself.
You can create video playlists, and it works the same way that you’d create a music playlist. Create a new list, and drag movies/videos onto it.
