Buy an apple iPhone 3Gs in India?
I would like to buy apple iPhone 3GS and today I have searched about this on the web. Now I need few clarifcations and hope that you will help me:
(1) Airtel and Vodafone is the only providers in India. They offer only Locked one. So shall I buy UnLocked one from some online stores like eBay and use with Airtel ?
(2) Can I buy one iPhone 3GS UnLocked one from Canada or USA and use it here in India ?
(3) If I buy one Locked iPhone from Airtel, Is there any option to change it to Vodafone in future ?
So you suggested to buy an unlocked one from any stores rather than from Airtel and Vodafone..
Regarding the warranty, is the iPhone provides warranty for 1 Year right?
If it is like that, what is the advantage of buying it from Airtel? One advantage is, Airtel provides 500 MB downloading for the first One Year without any charges..
How much it cost to unlock, if we buy it form Airtel?
Wherever You buy the iphone, but its all same.. You can even buy from local stores. Even if u buy in USA/Canada the price are nearly same…
Its better to get unlocked phone instead of buying it directly from Airtel/Vodafone.
But Airtel?Vodafone can only give warranty for your phone. If its unlocked, You will not get the warranty..
If u buy from Airtel, You can change to vodafone after only unlocking.. But unlocking the phone costs you much..
