i won an auction on ebay for an iphone 3g 8gb.. i got it for $265 and here is it’s describition form the ebay seller:—-
This Apple iPhone is stocked with the upgraded 3.0 software update and the itunes 8.2 update. This phone is used but in EXCELLENT CONDITION. I am selling this awsome phone because I bought a new Iphone 3GS. The screen has ABSOLUTELY NO SCRATCHES or imperfections. The back of the phone has normal wear with a couple very minor scratches that are only visible under certain lighting. The phone comes with the USB charger, wall plug, original box, manual, earbuds that have never been used and screen cloth.

That is a very good deal, if you are not currently eligible for an upgrade or new contract with AT&T. You get everything that comes with the iphone at purchase plus a screen cloth, and it has a perfect screen. The only problem I can detect would be some light scratches on the the back of the iPhone, but since there are none on the screen just use a case/cover and you’ll be fine.
If you were elligible for an upgrade or new contract, then you got ripped. But if you weren’t (which is most likely), then that’s a great deal considering that type of iPhone without contract is $499.
