iPhone 3GS to iPhone 5 Dilemma?
I took out a 2 year contract on my 3GS June 2009 in hope to get time it right for the iPhone 5 this June 2011…now my 3GS has packed up on me! and back from an Apple appointment they will only sort out the problem by charging me £150 to replace the same model 3Gs which is a utter waste..
–What do I do?…call 02 and upgrade now to iPhone 4 white…but then I be utterly annoyed when they release the iPhone 5 whenever that is!..
– Or do I buy a cheap phone and hold out till the release of 5.. grr hate all the secrecy of Apple I am now phone less as iPhone wont restore or anything and not upgrading to a 10 month old iphone to be told a new one comes out even if delayed till September
This delay of the iPhone 5 is a bad move for Apple with a lot of 2 year contracts coming to an end probably loose people going to Google Andriod/HTC phones now..
Don’t forget, the delay is still just a rumor at this point but you’re right. A delay is a big mistake.
I’d get a cheap phone to tide me over until the new phone is released. BTW, the 3gs came out in June 2009. It’s 23 months old.
