Is Ipod nano supposed to come with a CD (and other questions!)?
I just got an ipod nano (I think 2nd generation) as a present and I’m useless with these things. People told me it’s supposed to come with a CD to install it but it didn’t. It came in a tiny box the same size as it so no room for a CD. I am now in the process of downloading the manual from the apple site but I have no clue how to to get started with it. I plugged it in to my laptop but no automatic installation programme came up or anything. I want to be able to put things from CDs or from music files saved on the laptop onto it but don’t know how to do that. Somebody said I have to go onto iTunes and register there. I’m not sure…
Download itunes, you have to have that to be able to use your ipod. Once you’ve downloaded it, you can then put the music from the cd’s and music files onto your ipod. The ipod will update every time you plug in to the laptop, and will also charge from it.
