Anyone who has installed the new iPod Touch update (3.1.3) any issues with it?
Well I finished updating iTunes to 9.0.3 and then I tried updating my iPod Touch 2G > when download of the 3.1.3 software seemed to be finished, I got the following message: ”There was a problem downloading the software for the iPod ‘iTouch’. The network connection timed out. error -3259”
I use WiFi > I checked my connection a million times > signal is good, speed 50 Mbps, added iTunes to Firewall Exceptions List, closed my AV program etc…what the f@*% is going on ? This is the 4th time in a row I get the error…
Could the Apple servers be having some issues ?
And I’ve see A LOT of complaints about this on the internet…
I may not have an ipod touch, but I do have an ipod classic and the other day I downloaded the latest itunes being 9.0.3. and music I bought a few years back is now not recognised was on the phone to aol and then to apple and after screaming at them I did a bit of searching online and I have seen that I am not the only one with 9.0.3. messing about.
Bottom line this is “allegedly” a temporary problem on apples end and hopefully they’ll get it sorted out asap.
