My ipod touch isn’t being recognized by windows 7 or itunes?
I just got an ipod touch… I plugged it in (I already had itunes)
and it started trying to install a driver for new hardware… but then failed.
Now it won’t even tell me that… It just makes the hardware failure noise.
In itunes it won’t let me sync my ipod…
I have tried so many different things, I’ve restarted, I’ve tried recovery mode (on the ipod)
the ipod I’m SURE works because I plugged it into my ancient windows xp and it worked fine.
I’m using the public release of windows 7
and I have the latest itunes software.
Please help!
The apple site isn’t helping and I’ve searched forums but to no avail…
