How long to leave iPhone “soaking” in rice?
Yesterday evening my iPhone fell into a bowl of water. It was saved in approximately 4-5 seconds, and had an Otterbox case on it (thank goodness). I dried it off, then took the case off and dried it off, and then immediately soaked it in a bowl of rice. It was never turned on…it was off the whole time. It’s been soaking for at least 25 hours…
The headphone jack has been looked at and as far as we can tell it doesn’t have water damage. Should I leave it in another day, so that it has been soaking for 48 hours? Or should I just look at it tomorrow morning/afternoon? It was submerged, but as far as I can tell it wasn’t COMPLETELY soaked. I was freaking out too much to notice

I usually hear a minimum of 24 hours for the rice, so another day couldn’t hurt.
