error 1601 when i try to restore my iphone?
my iphone started going really funny
i.e saying i had signal but when people tryed to ring me it wouldnt connect
it ran out of battery one time and now it wont charge or do anything
the only way i know it works is because when i hold the home button and power button and connect it to itunes it recognises it
it says i need to restore my iphone so i try to restore it and when it gets to “preparing iphone” it says error 1601
i tryed uninstalling itunes compleatly and re installing it but that didnt work
i tryed it on 2 other laptops but that didnt work
i tryed jb it but that didnt work
is there anything i can do?
p.s i cant take it to the shop or back to apple because i bought it off a friend months ago
i have tryed everything i can think of and can see online
