Apple iPhone, Installer 3.11 Error Message – Download Package Failed?
I have a 2G, 8GB Apple iphone which has been jailbroken and unlocked using ZiPhone software. I have recently upgraded the installer to version 3.11 and it appears that since then, it wont allow me to install anything through the installer. It just produces the error message of “Download Package Failed”
I have to say though, this doesnt happen for everything. There are an odd few apps i can install, but the majority of them produce this error message. Here is a list of things ive tried
** Holding home button for 7 seconds whilst in installer
** Installing BossTools to move the applications across to the larger partition of the iphone.
** reinstalling installer
**refershing sources
** Resetting Network Settings
I am not the most technical with this device so if anyone can give any help in easy non technical terms id be grateful
Software = 1.1.4
Installer = 3.11
PS – Baseband Info = 04.04.05_G
i don’t know also about apple iphone but it may have something like my phone ,my phone only accept and install .sis and .jar files but not all .jar files ,your phone could be in some like this type or the files you downloaded could be corrupted try some other site on what you are trying to install
