Does anybody know when/if (legal) games will ever be available for the iPod Touch from the iTunes store?
As long as I’ve had my iPod touch (since last October, I think) there has not been a single game available for it.
The only new applications that they have released for it have been the Calender app and the January Software Upgrade which adds the remaining 5 apps that it doesn’t have from the iPhone, but none of those are games.
I know you can jailbreak it and get 3rd party games but I don’t really want to do that – I’d rather just wait and get some from the iTunes store instead of taking a chance on bricking (destroying) my iPod Touch.
I can also go on iPod Touch/iPhone websites using the Safari browser and play their games but they are never any good.
So anyway, there isn’t a way to put good-quality games on it without jailbreaking it is there? And also, does anybody know when Apple will be releasing downloadable games from the iTunes store for the iPod Touch and/or iPhone? (I would imagine that the games that work with the iPhone will aslo work with the iPod Touch too)
They will be available by the end of June, possibly by this Monday.
